HOW IT BEGAN

John Kongbäck, a passionate carp angler identified the same problem every time he was angling with his bait boat. The problem became an idea and the idea became a product. To launch his product he started the company Hyperfish together with design agency Madworks.

THE ROLLER

The idea was born when keeping the line stretched while navigating the bait boat became a struggle. The frustration of the line sweeping across the lake became too much and this demanded a solution. The first prototype of a ”line stretcher” was born in the beginning of 2023.

Throughout 2023 the team began building and testing multiple versions and methods seeking out flaws and making improvements. With valuable feedback from friends and fellow carp angling enthusiasts, they were able to refine the final product. The first version of The Roller is now available to the global carp angling community.

HYPERFISH

We are determined to improve and simplify the experience of carp angling. With the success of The Roller we know that any product that improves the experience of carp fishing will be welcomed by the carp fishing community. Stay tuned for new inventions.
